My Best Work Yet

I am so so excited to share this third installment of The Cult of Anick series with you! This is the first book from Aaron’s point of view, although I already released a bonus chapter that is a retelling of a scene from book #1, Avelina, available exclusively here on my website. Aaron’s book, Time Beyond the Trees, will be available on Amazon in October of 2025. You may be expecting a retelling of book #1 and #2 from Aaron’s POV, but this is not that. This is the telling of an entirely new timeline, so getting ready to rethink some things.

I have to say, my writing has really evolved over the last few years. Prior to this novel, I was a “pantser” and never used an outline, but I wanted to do something different this time. Since this is the first book I’ve written from a male point of view, I wanted to pay special attention to what Joseph Campbell called the “hero’s journey”. So, when I began, I started by plotting out every twist and turn of Aaron’s adventure with the classic stages of the hero’s journey in mind. The result was huge growing experience for me in terms of writing chops. Even my editor agreed that the improvement in my storytelling was dramatic!
